“The Three B’s: Bach, Beethoven and Brahms.”

Our very talented Canticus Vocal Ensemble is entering its 12th season and, as in the past, will offer another entertaining series of performances.

Our season kicks off at 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, at Englewood Christian Church. For this concert, Dr. Scott Peterson, Canticus’ founder and artistic director, has put together a program he’s calling “The Three B’s: Bach, Beethoven and Brahms.” The pieces will include Bach’s Motet VI “Singet Denn Herrn,” Beethoven’s “Elegescher Gesang” and the famous “Liebeslieder Waltzer” by Johannes Brahms.

“Each piece is distinct in style and will make a good contrast with the others,” Peterson said.

So, please save the date for our Nov. 1 concert.

Here are the dates for our other concerts in the 2026-27 season:

— December 13: Christmas with Canticus

— March 7, 2027: “Pops Goes Canticus”

— June 6: Summer Concert

We look forward to seeing you at Englewood Christian Church. Please spread the word about our concerts to family and friends.
